Coming off a very disappointing, 72-52 loss to district rival Somerset earlier in the week, the Pulaski County Maroons returned to action on Friday night, and John Fraley’s club rebounded big-time with a much-needed win against another 47th District foe.

The visiting Rockcastle County Rockets came into The PC Gym, and were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Once again, the Maroons had the Rockets number on the hardwood, blowing out Rockcastle County for the second time in two meetings between the two this season.

KJ Combs led three PC players in double figures with 18 points, scoring 14 of those points in the opening half of play, helping the Maroons race out to a 43-29 lead over the Rockets by halftime.

Caleb Sloan added 17 points in the win for the Maroons, and Colton Fraley added 10 points, helping PC move to 18-4 on the season with a 74-46 over Rockcastle County.

Pulaski County will return to action later today, facing the East Jessamine Jaguars on the road in the annual North/South Shootout.

Pulaski County will return home to the friendly confines of The PC Gym next Tuesday to host the Mercer County Titans at 7:30 p.m.
