The Somerset Lady Jumpers improved to 7-10 on the season on Monday night, with a huge win to open up play in the Girl’s 12th Regional All A Tournament.

Lauren Foutch led Somerset with 21 points, as Casey Rexroat’s club traveled to Burgin High School and departed with an impressive, 56-37 win over Washington County.

Somerset took control of things early on in this one, racing out to a 25-11 lead over the Commanderettes by halftime.

Devan Hurt and Kate Bruner each added eight points in the win for Somerset, which bounced back after last weekend’s loss at home to district-rival Casey County.

With the win, the Lady Jumpers advance in the tourney that will continue later this week at Burgin High School.
