Head coach Chris Adkins and the Pulaski County Lady Maroons got off to a good start to the 2019-’20 high school basketball season on Monday night, by going on the road and earning a tough win at Adair County by a final count of 50-36.
PC got out to a 25-20 lead at the intermission, and was able to pull away in the second half.
Haylee Ridner scored 8 of her 11 points in the second half, while Heidi Thompson tallied 6 of her 8 points after the intermission as well.

Ridner along with Caroline Oakes, each hit three-point baskets in the fourth period to help PC stay in control of the game and ice it away.
The Lady Maroons — now 1-0 on the year — will return to action in their home opener on Thursday night at The PC Gym, hosting the Lady Redhounds of Corbin at 7:30 p.m.
