Coming off of last Friday night’s win at Western Hills, the Southwestern Warriors returned home to The Wigwam last night, vying for their second win in a row.
However, visiting Boyle County — thanks to a big second half — would foil that attempt with a 64-42 win over the Warriors.
Boyle County led the Warriors in a low-scoring affair 25-22 at the half, but the Rebels blew this one open after the intermission.

The Rebels doubled up the Warriors 16-8 in the third frame, and extended their lead by outscoring Chris Baker’s club in the fourth quarter 23-12 on their way to the 22-point win.
Cole Dysinger led the Warriors in the loss with 14 points, and Brayden Sims added 10 points.
Southwestern — 12-14 on the season — will return to action on Friday night hosting arch-rival Pulaski County in a girl/boy doubleheader.
That action will tip off with the girl’s contest beginning at 6 p.m.
