FRANKFORT — After a tough, 75-66 home loss to Casey County on Thursday night at The Wigwam, the Southwestern Warriors bounced right back in a positive manner on Friday night on the road.
Facing Western Hills in the capitol city, the Warriors raced out to a 22-9 lead after one quarter of play, forcing the Wolverines to play from behind for most of the game.
Cole Dysinger paced Southwestern with 16 points, Andrew Smith added 12 points, and Brayden Sims chipped in with 11 points, as the Warriors went on to post a 53-47 win over the Wolverines.

Southwestern improved to 12-13 on the season with the win, and will return to action on Tuesday night at home, hosting Boyle County at 7:30 p.m.
