STEARNS — The Somerset Lady Jumpers may be peaking at just about the right time.
Bobby Bowling’s club went on the road Friday night, and won its third straight game, with a 70-61 win over McCreary Central.
The win meant Somerset evened its record for the first time this season at 8-8 on the year, and gave the Lady Jumpers a big boost headed into this week’s Girl’s All A 12th Regional Tournament.

Madison Garland had a huge night in Friday’s win over the Lady Raiders, pouring in a game-high 26 points for Somerset, while Rachel Presley added 12 points.
With Friday night’s win, Somerset will carry a big-time wave of momentum into this week, as Bowling and company get set to battle in the 12th Regional All A Tournament.
Tomorrow night at Washington County High School, Somerset will face Danville in a girl/boy doubleheader in the opening round of the regional All A tourney.
That twinbill is set to get underway at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night with the girl’s contest.
